藉著造型（領結）和材質（竹子）的對話，表現西方優雅仕紳和東方謙遜君子的精神。

 

領結椅，將竹積層材進行大弧度烤彎，以十三個「領結」元素的重疊，創造出簡潔又具有弧線之美的扶手椅造型。

有別於以往傳統工藝中「竹椅」的刻板形式與加工方法，《領結椅》反覆交錯的結構模組，不僅挑戰並展現竹材的韌性與彈性特質和極限，更在重複規律的線條中開展出三個具有實用機能的置物空間，更同時達到座椅通風、舒適且兼具支撐強度的特性。

This work expresses the spirit of elegant Western gentry and humble Eastern gentlemen through the dialogue between form (bow tie) and material (bamboo).

The Bow Tie Chair is a large curved bamboo structure, with thirteen bow ties overlapping to create a simple yet elegantly curved armchair form.

​

In contrast to the stereotypical form and processing of traditional “bamboo chairs,” Bow Tie Chair’s interlocking structural modules not only challenge and demonstrate the quality and limits of the bamboo’s toughness and flexibility but develop three functional storage space, which provides the furniture a ventilated, comfortable and supportive quality.
